Issues Workshop: The Practice of Vedic
Astrology in the Western World

ACVA/and CVA will hold its community
issues workshop “The Practice of Vedic
Astrology in the Western World” on
Thursday, May 15, 2008 from 2:30 to 5:30
p.m. at the Adams Mark hotel in Downtown
Denver. Cost of the workshop is $45.
This will be a roundtable discussion
of the contemporary face of Vedic
astrology at the conference on May 15,
2008, 2:30-5:30 PM. It is a
pre-conference session of the United
Astrology Conference (UAC) and occurs
just prior to that evening’s opening
ceremonies. The cost is $45.
This roundtable discussion, scheduled
for 3 hours, will give us a chance to
discuss Vedic Astrology in all its glory
and share, openly and honestly, the
challenges and opportunities facing the
Vedic community over the coming years.
Noted professionals in this field and
are the participants, covering topics
like:
- Models and methods of education
in Vedic Astrology
- How to present Vedic Astrology
services to the Western world
- Vedic Astrology’s interaction
and relationship with Western
Astrology
- The future of Vedic Astrology
Dennis Flaherty, former Council of
Vedic Astrology president, Dr. Dennis
Harness, president of the American
College of Vedic Astrology, and Gary
Gomes, current Council of Vedic
Astrology president, will help
facilitate the panel.
